She doesn’t know why she’s not getting her nightly treat and she’s very hurt. It’s because she’s still sick. She’s going to the vet on Tuesday to hopefully explain her weird poops. Until then it’s better safe than sorry

My doggy has diarrhea and there was a party behind our house last night that scared her so bad she was shaking and came into my room to sit with me. She also threw up today. FEEL BAD FOR MY DOGGY! On the bright side she does seem to be getting used to the new house.

The fact that my dog can’t eat certain foods forces me to face the fact that she is in fact not a baby and that I may have to deal with her doggy mortality sooner or later. Also my knee hurts and (as I just confirmed) looks gross. Feel sorry for us.

I saw this book in a bargain bin at a Barnes and Noble a long time ago. I flipped thru it and passed on it only to think about it so much that I bought it full price 2 years laters when I was already buying too many books. I loved it. Great character dynamic. Will need to read the rest.

Okay. I think I’m done with Pixel Kamikiri. I used more antialiasing than I thought I would and I would deeply appreciated it if someone would tell me if I did it correctly. Spade shapes pointing in different directions are very difficult to draw in tiny squares. #artcritique #pixelart #yokai

Studying pixel art by copying Pokemon sprites. I also made a Kitaro sprite based on the Gegege no Kitaro Gameboy game that’s supposedly "Pokemon but with yokai” i.e. everything I could possibly want in a game. No fan translation unfortunately, but I might get a rom just to reference the sprites

Experimenting with pixel art using a sketch of an OC named Bitzy (she’s an otter… or a mink) I’ll probably need to start again with a different sketch but either way it’s feels wild recognizing my character in the little squares.
