I keep seeing clips of this film and I absolutely see why it keeps being a thing that people praise nonstop. Apparently there is an HD blu-ray of this somewhere? I haven't been able to find it unless it's an importing situation. Either way, it's always fun to watch some stunning animation.

While its marketing hasn’t been great and the first half is a bit too hyperactive, Forgotten Island is a fantastic movie that has lovingly complex storytelling about family, love, and the memories help define our connections with people. With vibrant animation and off the wall humor, it’s a blast!

I saw Jim Queen in a packed theater and it was a riot and a half. The audience laughed multiple times loudly, and it had one of the loudest audience reactions when the credit hit of love and enjoyment. This is the beauty of animation when we can get great stuff like this.

Jim Queen is a chaotic wild romp that is a blast from start to finish. You have to be a grifty content creator or a stick in the thickest mud to be pissed off at this movie. It's full of laughs, biting satire, jokes, and commentary about the gay community from top to bottom. I had a blast!

So with INK unfortunately having had used genAI for 30 seconds in the movie, does that mean it can't qualify for Oscars due to the new ruling that there can't be any GenAI in the movies? I assume, even if it had no chance, that includes Fall 2: Deadpoint can't qualify either?
