@benjinaesen.bsky.social The peloton is all about how it's formed. The peloton is the original group of riders. A breakaway is a group of riders that attacks off the front of the original group. A groupetto/dropped riders have been dropped off the back of the original group.

Getting a chance to ride some big cols the Alps this week 🤩 Col des Montets/com du Forclaz near Chamonix, then Italy to France via Petit col de St Bernard, and today the Col De la Madeleine. Only downside was losing my @writebikerepeat.bsky.social cap from a jersey pocket 😭 thus no summit selfies..
