SO is basically how I learned everything in my career. And answers to questions were never answered once, but updated when devs found the question again and the answer had changed with the code over time. AI scraped the shit out of that site so nobody uses it anymore and we are worse for it.

Code being seen as fundamentally different than art is a ignorant view of someone who has only done one or the other. And expecting a difference between art gen AI, and the LLM toolset of code editors is foolish. Would you use a gen AI image checker to 'proofread' your art?
