250 years ago, a bunch of privileged rich white men who didn’t want to pay taxes founded the United States of America on a great set of ideals — freedom, equality and justice — and then went about implementing those ideals in the most fucked up way possible.

250 years later, we’re still fighting what often seems like a losing battle to guarantee everyone a share of freedom, equality and justice.

For the second time we know of, Kash Patel's FBI got a warning about a dangerous Nazi sympathizer (the other is the Evergreen shooter) but did not prevent an attack. This time 3 people were murdered. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/21/u...

The F.B.I. also was alerted to concerns about one of the teens before the shooting and had an open inquiry within its threat monitoring system, according to internal agency communications seen by The New York Times.

American has shielded politicians and military members from trial in foreign criminal tribunals. This can no longer be done - if Americans commit war crimes they must be tried in the international courts. If they aren’t, no nation would (or should) work with the US even again.
