Its hispanic heritage month. That means Im almost 13 years into my career in games, dayum. imo this industry isnt an easy space for POC, lots of undermining, undercutting, & questioning of your expertise, that ur yt peers wont be met with in the same way, but we’re not made to take that shit either

my belief is that at the end of the day, great games are made by groups of people who have high trust with each other & can fluidly execute a shared vision. which is a small part of why these layoffs are so devastating- it's not just about jobs, it's about these "trust structures" being torn apart.

And I’m going to say it’s done even though I still need to drill some holes for bolts to hold the two half’s together but it’s basically finished now. Was about 4 days work and hope is I’ll get faster with that with the next build. #woodworking
