Sad Sam Hazeldine is a mood. But ‘Learning to Breathe’ is some extra dimensions of messed. The pay can’t have be been high enough to justify wrecking yourself and your relationship so your director could have his closure on something… and then that didn’t even happen because he burnt out on the way.

On the AfD, it as expected doubled its vote share. This is still a watershed moment for democratic Germany, as it has become by far the biggest party in the East and well advanced in the West. More than 10 million Grams voted for a radicalised far-right party.

When I was 15, 16, I spent a lot of time in front of screens - small and big - watching Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche in “Wuthering Heights” and “The English Patient”. They were formative for me. I’ve yet to watch “The Return”. This interview makes me and my inner teen so happy. 🥰

And that’s why Better call Saul is so masterful and ultimately better than BB. Kim Wexler is a good guy. Jimmy tries but fails. VG has a good point and he’s earned this perspective. I also think the complex anti-hero is so ingrained in popular American culture, this won’t have an effect.
