I kind of hate it that I find myself celebrating the opening of new arms manufacturing. But this conflict, in all honesty, more closely resembles the civilizational struggles like WW2 than anything since that time. Ukraine's war against aggression and autocracy is the whole world's fight.

civilian volunteers are a far different thing than state-sponsored troops. Russia has, or has had, at the least, official Iranian military personnel and N Korean troops. Especially wrt N Korean troops, it's far from pretty even.
