As someone without children, I have no idea what the hell is going on with public schools. Why do I see unsupervised kids literally everywhere I go on a weekday? Aren't these kids supposed to be in school? Why are there 12-year-olds riding e-bikes inside the CVS at noon on a Wednesday?

This is part of how the Overton Window moves right. Conservatives are given license to be extremists and say things that are then normalized by the media and they eventually become mainstream positions. There's no counterbalance from the real left, because the US murders socialists and communists.

lmao sometimes feels like tech people are in kindergarten tier English class!!!! We are currently paying *crazy money* for these people to realise something humanities grads understand and can wield expertly for less than the price of this bad software

resonated with me. As someone still experimenting and learning with Al filmmaking, I'm finding that generating something visually impressive is becoming easier, but creating something that actually makes people feel something is the real challenge.
