That rhino from James and the Giant Peach was nightmare fuel as a young'n.

I hate AI as much as the next person, but the logo looks normal to me?

I have a soft spot for Rancid Rabbit from CatDog. I mean he's an unbearable asshole, but there's something about the character design I really like, plus I enjoy Billy West's vocal delivery.

Everyone else was doing it, so...

My top 9 "animes": SpongeBob SquarePants, Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Popeye, Looney Tunes, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Animaniacs, Johnny Bravo, and The Angry Beavers

I actually think the Ocarina of Time remake has very lovely visuals. It's like an old fairy tale or fantasy painting brought to life, which is basically the platonic ideal for the series' mood and tone in my opinion. I honestly prefer it to the BotW artstyle.

Given the color scheme, I choose to believe these cookies were a direct reference to the 1978 Jamaican cult film of the same name.

Just took a road trip recently and it's reinforced my belief that America already has way too much land that it has no idea what to do with. If anything, this country needs to significantly downsize itself.

Who's gonna be the first to start a merchandising fad around some Ediacaran biota? I'd like me a plush Dickinsonia pillow.

Dexter's Lab may be the perfect cartoon. Consistently funny, fantastically paced, cleverly irreverent, ambitious but not self-indulgent. Achieves a strong scope from a minimalist toolbox, and marries clean simplicity with thoughtful application of detail to create something wholly unique to itself.

Love how every 6th gen console embraced a different subset of the Y2K aesthetic. Dreamcast had the candy-colored pop vectorheart style, PS2 was the mature Gen-X Soft Club, Xbox had the grimy cybercore/Matrix look, and GameCube was the sleek but playful "tropical beach toy commercial" side of it.

My guinea pig, Pumpkin, passed yesterday, almost exactly one year after her sister. After living with a cyst and a tumor, she finally started having seizures, so I made the decision to put her down. She was always a fighter, with an appetite nearly as big as her personality. Rest in power, Queen.

Not enough love for this particular Pokémon. It's total dogshit in gameplay but man, what a cool design.

Rewatching Daria recently and it's refreshed my fondness for the art style. Very simple, but also clean and readable. The bold linework is fashionably of the era. Character designs communicate a ton of personality despite the minimalism. Might've influenced how I've drawn people since I was a kid.
