Hey! I'm working on my own silly little fighting game in my free time. My friends told me it looks like a fever dream at 40°C—which tells me I'm on the right track. Made with @godotengine.org ♥️ #games #videogames #gamdev #gamedevelopment

I saw a video of Copilot Agent. But I need VSCode Insider. So I need snap. So I need to set up my PKG_CONFIG_PATH variable. I wonder how far the rabbit hole's gonna go...

not sure if some people understand that part of what makes creating so rewarding is the fact that it *is* hard. It doesn’t matter if you’re been painting or writing for 80 years— every piece will have problems that need solving, and few things feel better than figuring it out.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

The distraction pipeline: I try to make a game, but I want assets in my style. I try to make assets in my style, but I need to draw them with a stylus. I try to draw them with a stylus, but trying to search references with a stylus on Linux is hard so I need to find a handwriting input software.

Ah, the annual fee for that domain you bought with grand plans but haven't touched since? That's not a charge, my tech bros, that's a procrastination tax. Gotta pay for the premium parking spot your brilliant idea is hogging in the internet garage. 😉

what if your ideas are as in love with you as you are with them? what if your creativity spends its days dreaming about you too? what if art is a co-creation between you (the vessel) & the eternal source of all things? what if this act of making is the universe experiencing itself through you?

I hope that 100 years from now, a day will come when everyone uses privacy-enabled Linux (or some sort of *BSD), and those users have no clue what the Windows hell from soul-sucking corporations like Microsoft looks like. A boy can dream, can't he? #linux #privacy #security

Normalize posting the messy sketches! Normalize sharing your least favorite pieces! Normalize creating art for vengeance by drawing your enemies in compromising positions with various farm equipment! Normalize group critiques!
