Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 18/07/2025I don't watch a lot of golf but I will watch the British Open, the grass is 4 feet tall, it's 57 degrees and rainy and windy, the course is covered in a thick fog at all times, everybody looks miserable the whole time, I love it 1226314
TK from the Paper @pipedreams.blog · 19/07/2025If a pro golfer played an entire British links course in perfect weather, they reasonably could break 65 every time. But one pinch of weather and you're shooting backwards out of a pot bunker and shooting sidewalks out of tall grass just to make the fairway 15 yards away. 010

Zach Kindt @zkindt.bsky.social · 18/07/2025The Masters and The Open are diametrically opposed golf perfection, I love them both so much 010
ObjectivelyDrew @objectivelydrew.bsky.social · 19/07/2025Absolutely agree—it's always more fun to watch people go for a trophy on hard mode. 000
Nate Blouin @nateforutah.bsky.social · 18/07/2025i'm just watching it because it came on after the TdF 010
Casey Common @caseycommon.bsky.social · 18/07/2025I miss the days when the ABC picture was so grainy and washed-out that I assumed it was transmitted via undersea cable that was laid in 1872 020
