No more pedestrian bridge over Como Av.
The temporary pedestrian bridge over Como Avenue on the south end of the fairgrounds is not in service this year and it's not coming back. The bridge allowing those who park in the lot near the Coliseum and walk over Como Avenue without having to wait for a break in traffic was retired ahead of the 2025 fair. The bridge was installed each year and inspected by a structural engineer, but "we are no longer comfortable installing it," a fair spokesperson said. Access from the parking lot to the fairgrounds remains.
