cutting off a bit of old metro card/credit card gets something narrow and firm enough to scrape stuff out but *not* kill the port. canned air helped.
port is always the first thing on my phones to go bad. i got a cheap pack of like 50 silicone port plugs, and used wireless charging a while, but ehh
