Cyriak @cyriak.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Since dinosaurs are related to modern birds, the next Jurassic Park movie should totally have dinosaurs that can mimic human speech like a parrot. Instead of just roaring at people they could say something like "welcome to Jurassic Park!" before biting their heads off. I'd watch that. 1431736

Maya Posch @hackkitten.bsky.social · 28/06/2026More than just related, they are the direct descendants of avian dinosaurs. I.e. they are literally flying & waddling dinosaurs. Which also undermines the whole premise of the Jurassic Park movie, but that's another kettle of lizards. 060

Fourierist @fourierist.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Hmm scene where a secondary character hears a child calling for help. They leave the group to investigate and round a corner to find themselves eye to eye with a velociraptor, another appearing off to the side to execute the classic "clever girl" ambush from the first movie. 2111
bogwash @bogwash.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Dino-parrot's first on screen victim is some sarcastic two-liner who says "that's not menacing at all", so of course the dino-parrot repeats that later as a meta mocking lure 120
Oli @spoonmeiser.bsky.social · 28/06/2026They could say "Polly want a cracker" And then they bite a girl, who is CALLED Polly, and when they bite her, it goes CRACK. It just writes itself! 010
