Was walking to work one day in 2013. Guy riding his bike through an intersection hits a pothole, flies over the handlebars, & faceplants on the pavement. Another woman and I rush over to him, she says "I'll call an ambulance." He gets up, bloodied, says no, he doesn't have insurance & speeds off.

When the ambulance showed up, the woman didn’t want to go to the hospital at first bc she was worried about the cost. Picture unrelated.
