🦋 Welcome to Buesky! 🦋 It's long past time to leave the Nazi bar, and you'll have a much better time here. I updated this guide due to the influx of users fleeing Grok's new AI bullshit. Share widely for all the newcomers!

I'm coming back to Bluesky and I'm kinda curious: is it better to have two separed accs for art and personal/repost spam, or is it ok to keep both in the same acc? Not quite sure how the algorithm works here

Using #Hashtags on this site is also really good, helps a lot with the discoverability, making posts appear in themed feeds, and lets you search profile posts by hashtag if you want to see specific content!

Some people just absolutely cannot break away from the "For You" feed, it's a dopamine addiction, so the mere thought of curating your own experience intimidates them. I've been using this one for a while and it's tries to be a bit "Twitter-esq" in its content delivery. bsky.app/profile/spac...

We should probably have someone translate this to Japanese, as well as add a convincing explanation as to why they should move here to Bluesky. We need more Japanese creators here.

An addition to the Block Often note: it doesn't just have to be trolls! Someone with an obnoxious opinion clogging up your space? Block 'em. Someone giving you bad vibes? Out the door. You can even just "mute" the account so you don't see them, but they can still interact with you, if you like.

*check accounts that follow you* the spies are lurking. if an account follows thousands, but has only posted a couple of times - red flag. it only posts generic replies (haha. cool. etc.) 🚩 bucolic nature scene account suddenly following your highly political feed? 🧐 let's be careful out there.

Not defending AI, let me preface that. But if artists didn’t leave Twitter when fascists took over and it became a Nazi site, why would they leave now? AI hurts their morals but not fascism? Like, cmon people. Especially BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks who refuse to leave, “because everyone is there”.
