Apart from DOOM, any computer game before 1995 is basically long-forgotten arcane knowledge.
I remember when they made a book with 1001 games you must play and it didn't have a single King's Quest but listed all the GTAs & Mario Karts.
@headfallsoff.comi think one of the biggest underlinings in just how bad the western industry has been about its own legacy is like. myst isnt just an old game. it was final fantasy vii before final fantasy vii. it was that fucking huge.
