BK Indie deleted his old YouTube channel and is reuploading on a new channel, to clean things: www.youtube.com/@bkingfilm2/... Who is he? The "NoClip of China" - he's been doing documentaries on local games for 8 years and posting them with English subtitles! A must-watch to expand your horizons!

Aaah, this seems like someone I should REALLY be following. Lots of games on there already that I want to know the story behind.

Recentemente ganhei o Xuan-Yuan Sword : Gate of Firmament e eu tô curtindo. Gravei um seguimento junto com o @outerheaven.bsky.social para o podcast dele, e fiquei maravilhado ao pesquisar sobre a série e como a gente sabe tão pouco fora do eixo US-JP. Valeu pela recomendação.

This is a good started, showing how the dev behind Hero's Adventure (an amazing RPG from 2023) began his career 20 years ago making fangames in Flash about his favorite Wuxia RPGs from the 90s, then worked on 2D online RPGs like MapleStory. It's a nice culture shock! www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKsr...
