Playing Blue Dragon on my PC via the recomp feels like fulfilling a childhood wish. I remember reading about Blue Dragon when it came out, I only had a PS2 and a PC. So no way to play it but I really wanted to being a fan of Dragon Ball and seeing Toriyama's artwork in 3D.

Armed Fantasia always looked pretty generic to me even with the western themeing. It just looked like any other shonen anime game out there. I wonder if that's what they really wanted to make or whether it's what they thought would sell. Ironically it hasn't sold.

The Rhapsody of Zephy remaster is impressive... they added widescreen, full-voice acting and lots of QoL & cheat options like quest compass, more XP and auto-battle - all optional. Also, the remaster includes the original game! Excellent preservation work! Now to wait for the English translation...

Last Repost: I was thinking about this a while ago. There are benefits to mandatory conscription for society as a whole but I don't believe it fits a democracy to force people to fight for a political alignment they may not agree with. The solution in mind is mandatory public service instead.

I like Neowiz as a company. Lies of P is a great game, the best non-From Software game. DJmax is neat too. I just hope Falcom cared enough to mandate no AI in the contract since like all SK publishers Neowiz is on the Gen AI bandwagon. I really hope the Lies of P sequel is AI free.

I've seen whole callout videos based on the logic that 'I mailed X to ask if they were using generative AI and they didn't respond to me, so clearly they're trying to hide something!'. And the fact that you are making a callout video based on that 'fact' is probably the reason they didn't respond.

Also, again, you having a gut feeling that someone is using AI is maybe a reason to ask if they are. And if they don't respond or react badly (because that is tantamount to an accusation of plagiarism or worse), that isn't proof you were right. It could be because you broached the subject badly.

Can we just try being normal-ish to people? If we see them doing something that upsets you as an artist and a creator, the answer isn't a public smear campaign to ruin them forever, it's privately messaging them and saying 'Hey, that's not cool, knock that shit off'. This applies to MANY things...

In order to not succumb to sex negative conservatism you have to accept that people will get off to things that are upsetting to you, and you cannot assume anything about what they have or have not experienced, what they do or or do not believe, and how they act based solely on what gets them off, even if it's extremely confusing and disturbing to you. There are people who have only ever had heterosexual vanilla sex in missionary with the lights off, who actively contribute more to real world harm than your average fetish artist. Kink is not a reliable source of information on someone's moral standing. It just feels good to think that way.
