Israeli former defense minister stating the obvious truth that Israel is completely reliant on the US to maintain its military capabilities and then advocating for the batshit stupid idea of copying the Iranian missile and drone force strategy as a way to deter Iran.

To address this new reality, the Israeli defense establishment must create a missile corps within the Israel Defense Forces. Right now, to strike Iran, we use U.S. aircraft, U.S.-made munitions and U.S. refueling aircraft. We pass through the airspace of other countries and coordinate with the U.S. We rely on American radars and satellites. Militarily, we are overly dependent on other nations.

Establishing a missile corps and using only Israeli-made missiles would resolve several security issues. It should possess at least 20,000 ballistic and cruise missiles, 30,000 unmanned aerial vehicles and drones, and 24,000 rockets.
