I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. - Version with ALT text! Thank you @virginiaopossum.bsky.social for the help!

the wolves in the cellar.

three ethereal, skeletal wolves in a cellar, spilled wine and spirits fluttering about. an altar with wine and a mounted deer skull is behind them.

I'm horrifically disappointed to see people hopping into a harry potter art trend after all the heinous garbage jk rowling has done to multiple communities Not so friendly reminder that she's using this as free advertising and you ARE supporting her indirectly for this.

I would like to point out as well that as an artist living in the digital hell era, you also need to be somehow "relevant" in social media to find customers which means, making videos, posting often, put more "content". AI is the worst plagiarism machine so obviously you might get copied too.

You can pay for this with a credit card, but don't dare think of commissioning art of consenting adults having fun sexually, credit card companies (and PayPal) will de-bank you. Our systems are so screwed up. :/

Heads-up on PPSSPP. Info in the thread on the last versions that don't contain it. The dev has gone off the deep end into Claude is my best friend territory.

I'm seeing a few folks unaware during the whole "moving from Tapas to ComicFury" scenario that bears repeating: ComicFury does NOT have an app! Do not download whatever fake CF app is out there. CF has a custom-built mobile viewer on most of its hosted sites. Use the browser website!!

Olivia Just Wants Tech To Be Fun Again @kingdomfantasy6.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

This is what I'm talking about when I bring up that genAI bots are making it impossible for an open web to actually exist. It becomes expensive, a pain, and domain providers like cloudflare are profiting off both the people making bots and the people who don't have the tech skills to fight them off

the thing about furry is that it's always been about queer and sexual expression regardless of who you are. while it's not a perfect community, it's still very welcoming in a lot of instances and that kink will always be a part of it. seeing new furs and corps try to sanitize furry is frustrating

sometimes it feels like a lot of normal people conceptualize an "artist" as a superposition of both A. a super wealthy fine art elite who does low effort abstract art nobody understands B. someone magically born with the art talent gene even though A is 0.000001% of artists and B is not a thing
