No thank YOU. You totally put me on to something that wasn’t really on my radar before

Kids rarely come to these (although they are welcome), I’m trying to remind adults that wild animals exist and are cool and should be protected. I meet cool likeminded people all the time and have been getting involved with local programs I wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. Events are what’s up!

I also already host figure drawing meetups a couple of times a month, and I’m trying to get as many animals involved as possible. We had goats a couple of weeks ago, and I’m trying to plan a visit from some owls from a local raptor rescue. I’m on the lookout for reptiles as well.

I did a moth night for artists (I thought I was being sooo smart having an original idea, but then you posted about your own in Philly the same week lol). Also got involved with an existing local gardening club and seed distro that I went looking for after you posted about local pollinators.

LOVE bad movies. I read a review so blistering I had to watch it. It was even worse than I was expecting, in different ways. Mr. Cube was probably the least worst thing about it. Haven’t seen Ghosts of Mars, but I’ll have to look for it. I think Anaconda is probably the peak of his career for me

Yeah! Part of my hesitancy to adopt is that I like the experience of driving, especially running through the gears and the noises and the whole tactile experience. Maybe gas cars are eventually gonna be like horses, something for hobbyists instead of the go-to. And that’s alright.

I am delighted to learn these exist.

John Allyn Smith Sails is one of my all time favorite scream along in the car songs.

I went by myself to see this band in 2008 or 9 because none of my friends were cool enough to see them with me and it is one of my more cherished concert memories.

I grew up in the desert and was embarrassingly old when I learned fireflies are real creatures because they seem fake af. Imagine my delight when I moved to the northeast and learned I could have more mythical creatures by doing less yard work.
