The word ‘gandhi,’ in handwritten lower-case letters. The ‘g’ is the kind where the descender is a loop. The two loops are styled with some additional lines to look like a pair of spectacles with round lenses, which are cracked; some glass splinters are also seen near the spectacles.

Always love sharing this, even as an ex-academic - if you ever come across a paywall for scientific articles, simply look the first or last author up and email them to ask for a copy of the article. They will almost always appreciate it and provide it completely free of charge. Or use #icanhazpdf

Millet sheera. Rinse and then soak the millet. Drain. Add water, cook in pan (or rice cooker, like I did) with jaggery and cinnamon powder, until porridgy. Lightly toast raisins, nuts. Add to the mix, then add milk, stir until milk is absorbed. Set in a bowl in fridge.
Top view of a glass bowl in which a white porridge is set. There are toasted nuts and raisins visible in the mix A closer shor of a slice of the set porridge in a steel vaati. You can just about see the texture of the cooked millet grains clumped together. There are bits of toasted almonds, cashewnuts and raisins visible in the mix.
