A trio of sample collectors are fully enjoying a koothu break with some DIY chemical apple green laser effects setting the mood. The stalagmite cacti bop along too, with barely perceptible vibrations that run up and down their fuzzy spines.

2024 planner, repurposed as an art/sketch book. Speaking thoughts that flit past in my mind sometimes in gouache colors from a twenty year old palette found in a basement that's filled with too much stuff. But it's really cool stuff. FYI,the said basement belongs not to me.

The hypersensitive surface receptors of the sample collectors record the energy given off by the hard-working cells of the sentient cactus. They record the sounds of the flow of water and nutrients in its vascular structure. Xylem music has some great hits. But only a sample collector would know.

Smaller sample collectors float around the AmmaVSJD889989, the OG mother sample collector who checks in on structural and data collection integrity of all the bots in work mode, floating across asteroid Succulentious.

Hi! First day on Bluesky. I write South Indian women fending off zombies and brown-girl-centered spec fic stories and draw gentle cuboid robots that collect botanical samples on an asteroid teeming with sentient cacti. I am looking to connect with writers, artists, and filmmakers of color.
