If I had to guess, the renewal now is probably something new for Helix, or perhaps even better terms for distributing GTA VI because of how much money it’ll make. Epic had similar deals for Fortnite where it paid a lower commission fee to Sony because of how big the game was for the platform etc

FWIW this is just a bog standard publishing agreement that renews every few years. Take Two has the same agreement with Sony and Nintendo to publish games on their platform for example.

For as much as the US has lost on the battlefield in Iran, it has continued to solidify its position in the West through brute force. This isn't a good strategy by any means, but it "worked" in Venezuela, it's working with Greenland / Denmark, and Canada / EU may oppose on paper, but not in action.

Fwiw, this isn't entirely true because it supersedes the old 1951 deal by tying the agreement to the US, rather than the existence of NATO. People want to downplay the significance because it's Trump, but the US now has veto power over military and infrastructure investment in Greenland.
