I weighed 65 pounds in the 6th grade because of food insecurity. Zero food at school, and later in high school, on 1 or 2 night trips for tournament cheerleading, I literally didn’t have a quarter to buy food - while we’d go to restaurants as a squad. Feed the damned kids.
