A few minutes ago, Blackburn sought unanimous consent for the No Fakes Act, another dangerous bill that would expand right to publicity laws past their traditional limitation to commercial use, which safeguarded protected expression. Senator Cruz objected to block it. But she's not done yet.

Today Senator Blackburn is expected to try ramming KOSA--the Kids Online Safety Act--through the Senate via unanimous consent. KOSA was an Internet censorship bill in its inception, and in 4 years the only thing its authors have done is try to disguise KOSA's nature rather than fix it.

We can’t lose FA. We can’t let our online spaces be dictated by outside investors and tech bros. We’ve already seen how polarized online furry spaces have become thanks to algorithms on Instagram and TikTok. We’ve seen how this tries to sanitize furry to meet one narrow ideal to please advertisers.

Keep FA alive, no matter the cost. It is honestly one of the very few sites I'm aware of that maintains the feel of a bygone era of the internet. If you have funds, throw them towards the FA staff to help maintain the largest art gallery-focused site for furries.

I barely use FA. I think it's outdated, cumbersome, and not what I need out of a gallery site. In light of this, I will be purchasing an FA+ membership because this is far more important than just my wants and needs. FA is fandom history. It's networking. It's a lifeline for our community.
