Oh, thx for reminding me that I should uninstall discord. Fuck off with locking down accounts that in the end does no effect at all cuz people are gonna find ways to bypass it anyway.

Their methods of “banning” it are… Not effective lmfao😂✌️ A simple dns change of your operating system fixes it for me and I was still able to access both reddit and discord. Although, I already quit discord as of a few months ago since I’m now on Stoat! :D This is now your time to try alternatives..

I decided to try niri for the first time and holy shit I'm in lovee😍 With DankMaterialShell, it feels so fresh and unique! :D Scrolling tiling manager really is a solution to the "claustrophobic" workflow I had with hyprland on laptop screens.

Finally can access this platform again. Idk what happened to bluesky but for the past week, I can't log back in to bluesky and my devices that have already logged in just won't load anything. It seems that its working again for me as of today.

FYI: Their own benchmark is bullshit. They use an old version of Firefox to make their own browser to look good. You could say thats the latest version at the time they tested, however, the version of chrome and brave they used here is from July 2026, while firefox 146.0.1 is from December 2025…

update: I'm having way too fun here in void linux :D its soooo fast it somehow made my laptop not on the usual celeron speeds anymore :O

Welp, its time to distrohop again on my laptop. After wiping my Debian install for Void Linux, This one impressed me. Seriously, out of all distros I tried on my laptop, this one is the fastest! The boot times are quick, it uses less memory, and its really fast for a laptop that uses a celeron :O

fyi: Depending on how old your hardware is, it might significantly get worse performance, and increases the chance of getting stutters when interacting the shell. Especially when unlocking the lock screen. Gnome shell relies heavily on javascript via gjs, so uh yikes🫪

When will gnome add the ability to change the frickin touchpad scrolling speed?! Its too high ootb on any distro that uses gnome by default. At least theres wayland scroll factor that allows me to change it, but the fact I have to go use a 3rd party project just to change that one setting is stupid.

I have just tried Firefox again in form of Firefox Nightly (cuz why not lol) and so far, the performance is FINALLY on par with Thorium I've been daily driving for a while on my laptop! I'm so glad firefox is getting better and better every day :D

Since I can use my pc again, I have just switched from artix to Debian on my laptop :) Artix is nice, but I do need a bit of stability and less time of maintaining the system, especially when dealing with software that is made to work with systemd like Waydroid and epson utility program...

I decided to revisit my Linux Mint 23 install by booting it from my laptop instead of my pc. The Wayland experience is alot better than before, and I'm satisfied :) cinnamon being cinnamon tho lags the whole desktop when there's too much going on, something that KDE have fixed it for a while...

Look, I’m an open source maintainer, and if you want people to use that FOSS software as an alternative to that proprietary software it’s good to understand why people wanted to use that proprietary software in the first place and why they might be hesitant to switch It’s not because users are dumb

I have just moved from Kubuntu to Artix Linux! So far, its been really nice, and its less bloated than Ubuntu and even Arch. OpenRC is really a bit faster and uses less memory than SystemD. I did have to add arch's extra repo cuz half of the packages I need are missing on Artix's repos...

Arch Linux Now Believes Malware Incident Under Control: More Than 1,500 Affected Packages
The day started out with Arch Linux's AUR user-contributed repository seeing more than 400 packages compromised with malware. Now in ending out the day they believe all affected commits have been addressed. But it ended up being more than 1,500 affected packages...

Hey guys, Kevin, CEO of GLITCH here. Been trying to figure out when and how to express this, but now I think is the right time:

To the fans - Thank you, deeply. You are the reason we got here. I know it can get noisy online sometimes, but the real-world reality is that you are some of the most genuine, kind people we have ever had the privilege of meeting. We saw every cosplay, every discussion circle, every sticker shared outside the theatres. That is what this is all about.

To every person at/with GLITCH - I never doubted you for a single second. You are all so incredibly talented, and I am so proud that the impact of your work is now being felt on a world stage.

To the industry - Animation and cinema is art. Art is human expression. Digital Circus was a deeply personal story created to express complex feelings. Please let that be the signal you take from all of this.

To everyone - Keep making things and keep sharing your work. We found all our creators through the internet.

Now, here’s Pomni with her signature dance move.

I manage to get Leafpad 0.7.9 running on Ubuntu 26.04. All it took is some dependency hunting and thats all :) So I guess backwards compatibility is still kinda possible on Linux, it just takes a bit of work unlike Windows.
