"these researchers published a paper on something that literally any of us could have told you 🙄" ok well my supervisors wont let me write something in my thesis unless I can back it up with a citation so maybe it's a good thing that they're amplifying your voice to the scientific community in a way that prevents people from writing off your experiences as annecdotal evidence
they did the research in the first place because they believed you and wanted to tell people about it. they are not our enemies.

I was raised pretty conservatively, so not only did my mom disallow me from choosing my own outfits (outside of cosplay) until I moved out -- she also never taught me anything about queerness, so it was one of those things that made a LOT of sense only in retrospect. 🤣

When I started cosplaying in my teen years, my mom asked why I only ever wanted to cosplay male characters. I said it was because I liked them better, and I liked how they looked better. Took me probably a good 5~7 years afterward to figure out that signaled I was both trans and gay. 🤣

If we had a federal government that wasn't firmly up the ass of Big AI, they'd make it a crime for an AI to put people in mortal danger by sending them into wilderness areas with fictional instructions. If a human kept doing this, they'd probably go to jail, even under existing laws.

Tbh it's more a question of whether I *should* rather than whether I *can.* If I did take up tap, lesson costs and such would come out of my savings which are supposed to be only for emergencies, and those would only last so long. So probably not the financially smartest idea. 😅

Judge callout battle at ASC. I can fully say my experimenting with other genres of music is slowly paying off and I’m happy with where I’m at and what I’m accomplishing. Side note this is the most I’ve ever smiled during an exchange, and the most fun I look like I’m having in dance.
