I know a few folks are excited for #silenthilltownfall tomorrow, so: presenting my trip to St. Monans, Scotland a few months ago, the very real place that St. Amelia from the new game is based on. (Excuse the picture of me; the wind blowing in my face doesn't help me look photogenic!) #silenthill

I actually wasn't trying to get the limited edition console, just the physical game with the pre-order goodies, but even if I *did* want the console from EE, well:

Slight concern: did anyone notice that the Nintendo UK version of the Ocarina of Time remake trailer is missing mention of the physical release? And that the Nintendo general UK site just updated... OoT page only links to the eShop? www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Games/... www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuMH...

It makes me so angry that you even have to worry that you *could* run into these people anywhere as part of a vital health care service, but at least the nurses and junior doctor treated you respectfully. Good luck tomorrow! ❤️

A 3 Panel Comic.

1) A small guy is very excited about the announcement of Crazy Taxi World Tour, with SEGA themselves noticing this.

2) SEGA announces that they forgot a small detail and pushes a button on a remote.

3) Everything becomes dark... except for two PARTICULAR letters in the word TAXI. SEGA looks very happy. The little fella does not.

HOWEVER: as a counter-balance to this, a group of people online did something *incredibly* kind for me and this family member, completely unprompted. You know who you all are, and you are wonderful. As bad as everything is - and many days *really* suck - you've all given me some hope. Thank you!

I don't exactly post on here or the old site often, but as an update: things have been unbelievably stressful lately. The TL;DR is that a direct family member we live with has a terminal illness. I was already acting as a secondary carer, but things are increasingly difficult for all of us.

Curiously, almost exactly a month of Enigma; did Capcom licence it for just a month use this as a test case for the DRM? @digitalfoundry.bsky.social In any case, thank goodness!

Hey, @digitalfoundry.bsky.social: sounds like Capcom just pushed an update on #RE4Remake on PC which removed Denuvo but replaces it with Enigma, significantly hitting performance on certain machines (and, naturally, breaking several mods/upscalers)? @capcomusa.com

I made a similar joke with a goofy MGS parody in the video comments a few days ago, LOL

(Silly Metal Gear parody related to the video)

"We have a situation, Snake. Last night, a rogue group of elite Imagineers took control of Disney World in Florida. They're calling themselves, 'The Sons of Walt Disney'. They say that if their demands aren't met, they'll release a devastating new form of entertainment on the guests of Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom."

"What are their demands?"

"No less than the frozen remains of the one said to be the greatest Imagineer of the 20th century: Walt Disney."

"The old man himself!? And this weapon... you wouldn't have called me here if it wasn't serious. It can't be...??"

"I'm afraid so. An experimental, 11,000 pound, autonomous walking entertainment character capable of flirting with over seventeen guests per hour: Metal Gear TRIKE. Intel suggests it's stored in a compound in what used to be EPCOT - you know, before the budget cuts. We believe the Imagineers intend to bunker down there and revive the old man's dream: a haven for creatives and Imagineers alike with no country, no philosophy, no ideology, sans the pursuit of guest entertainment..."

"You don't mean...!?"

"Yes. OUTER EPCOT."
