The fact I had this reply about a gen-AI concern which doesn't even remotely address my point and might as well have been written by an LLM speak volumes x3

YoshiChief @yoshichief.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

"Don't be quick to judge folks who use gen-AI on projects, it can be useful and you might hurt their feelings!" I wouldn't, but when I see comments like "I really do need to find some AI code to merge into core so we can eject the virtue signalers" from a prominent dev, I have to be on guard.

So here's the thing about games/mods/other types of projects that use gen-AI. Whatever your opinion of the usage of gen-AI is, I think we can agree that it should always be easily disclosed if used, and the purpose of the usage, so that folks can judge for themselves.

Most questions on /r/Twitch can be boiled down to "how do I interact and socialise with other people?"

My Steam account is 22 years old, the years of service badge proves it. Yet I don't have a credit card, only a debit card. And because of that, I cannot verify my age on Steam to access mature content, even if I wanted to verify. Fuck off Valve (and by extension, fuck off UK Gov).
