Yes, TTRPG is an initialism/abbreviation, whereas larp is an acronym. Latter is pronounceable as a word, former isn't. Unless you say "Woofrupp" for WHFRP of course.

Copyeditor here. Oxford gives LARP, Cambridge LARP with larp as alternative. Given that common acronyms eventually become words in their own right (radar, laser etc.) & that your readership are familiar with the term, it should be a common noun: larp, uncapitalised.
