The dome is 143 feet (44 m) tall, has a diameter of 536 feet (163 m), covers an area of 5.1 acres (2.1 ha) and has a volume of 16,135,907 cubic feet (456,918.0 m3). It is a geodesic dome constructed with 781 Douglas fir beams and 108.5 miles (174.6 km) of fir decking and is designed to support snow up to 60 pounds per square foot (2.9 kPa) and withstand 80-mile-per-hour (130 km/h) winds. It has a permanent seating capacity of 8,000 people, though the building can hold as many as 16,000 people. The 2010 edition of Guinness World Records listed it as the fifth-largest dome and largest wooden dome in the world

Institutional neutrality is a straight jacket the campus presidents and boards put themselves in in order to absolve them of any moral obligations to the to the world and community which they reside. Trump’s Compact attempted to codify this practice that many, many campuses adopted on their own.

Hundreds of students at the University of Minnesota or Alex pretty attended, joined a midday walk out calling for action from the university. “ we want ice out of Minneapolis said far is one of the walkout organizers “and we want our university to join us and making the call.” University leaders adopted a policy last year, barring the school from issuing statements about matters of public concern unless they directly affect the schools mission or operations.

By who? Who shot the person dead? You saw the video. We all know a federal agent shot a man dead who was prone on the ground. Also, it's not "according to officials." It's according to verified video seen with your eyes. Not saying what anyone can obviously see with their eyes is a form of lying.

DHS's first official statement is out, and they call the woman who was shot a domestic terrorist who they claim was trying to kill an ICE agent. As a reminder, Tricia McLaughlin's post-shooting statements have been proven to be false MULTIPLE times in the past. They are simply not trustworthy.

Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism.

An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.

He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.

The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.

This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement. These men and women who are simply enforcing the law on the books are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats.

This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available.

Manuel has not indicated that he’s the kind of person who could bring about a reckoning even if he wanted one. Manuel is a former Michigan defensive lineman who played under Bo Schembechler, the winningest coach in school history. Schembechler worked closely with a sports doctor, Robert Anderson, who sexually abused countless Michigan athletes over decades without the coach or the school stopping him. (In 2020, after the school solicited stories from survivors, people came forward with more than 1,000 allegations of on-campus acts of sexual abuse by Anderson.) Schembechler was extremely powerful at Michigan in those days, and one of his sons has said he knew of Anderson’s abuse. But under Manuel (and under Harbaugh, also a Schembechler acolyte), there’s been no institutional coming-to-grips with the legendary coach’s role in the Anderson story. A statue of Schembechler still stands. The football team still operates out of Schembechler Hall. Harbaugh never stopped backing Schembechler in public, and Manuel never thought to make him. Manuel continued to talk about Schembechler in hagiographic terms after the Anderson story came to public light.
