Just to be clear on this article, the position I took isn't "developers need to be more brave" but "funding needs to be more brave". Developers make all the cool stuff, just because they want to - the funding side hits it with market research and fear and growth targets and shareholders.

It's been slightly over a month since I injured my arm, and currently it is starting to look like the recovery is going to take closer to 12 weeks than 6. In addition, might have to make adjustments to my artstyle and the way to prevent this from happening again. Curious to see how this will go!

I always say migraine is the worst pain I have ever been in, but this is bad enough that I categorize the past 2 weeks as one of the top 3 worst events in my life. I don't say that lightly. I got physio visits (5) lined up as well to ensure full recovery and that this never happens again.

I will have to join ArtFight late; I managed to injure a nerve on my shoulder, and cannot do anything with my right arm. Pain is crushing. But, nothing permanent. Just a long recovery. I'm on week 2 now, 2 more weeks estimated for me to be functional, 4 weeks for pain-free, 6 for full recovery.
