I've been obsessed with the design of this Megaraptor for years ever since it was first foreshadowed in the 2nd episode and revealed in the 3rd episode of the canceled series. Dino Defenders Extreme was one of those animated series on YouTube that had mad potential and the creator Jack Anthony Ewins showed a lot of promise when it came to the writing and designs of the different animals. Megaraptor is one theropod that gets some representation in paleomedia but not enough and seeing it do its thing in that animated Miniseries made me fall in love with the real animal even more. I've seen some fanart and renders of this animal for the past few years and back in June I decided to add in my two cents and do my own fanart of it, mainly because I really want this series to make a comeback even though Jack Anthony Ewins and Terrordome 3000 have gotten themselves in some controversies as the years have passed.

The Allosaurus from The End of Oak Street facing right with mouth open and claws at the ready in a stepping forward posture. I've taken off the spikes on top and made them be made out of filaments instead. I also toned down the scutes and made them remniscent of those known in Concavenator as well as basing the extraoral tissue on Brian Engh's recent reconstruction. Still monstrous but maybe more modern than the movie design.

Two grayscale sketches of Megaraptor or a composite megaraptorid facing left in a standing pose with hand claws at the ready. On top is from memory and on bottom is drawn while looking at reference images. They are very similar partially because I put them in the exact same pose, but the proportions are also very similar. The skull on the memory version is probably me remembering the slim juvenile skull material while the referenced one is more based on an aged up skull reconstruction.
