That one animal I really like, and a video that's late to be uploaded here.

Sometimes you just have one of those days, y'know? Thinking too much about the not so great things happens every once in a while, but it doesn't suck any less at any point. That's life though- just gotta find a way over it I suppose.

Time to play catch-up over here! Baryonyx, Tarbosaurus, Rex, and Spino are here. Was quite fun getting all of these done, and with Spino done and ready to go, I can get on to the last of the Big 3! After which, I'll be doing my regular stuff with some ornithopods I think.

Tameryraptor's blockout is finished! Not gonna lie, with no top-down views around I just tried to stick to general carch proportions as best as possible. The skeletal used this time was the one released alongside the paper not too long ago by the by. Small thing.

Working on the new guy on the block! Currently exhausted though so I'm gonna head to sleep. Expect some more uploads tomorrow, and hopefully completion.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

A whole living stone. There's some more things incoming soon, so expect some frequent updates!

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 02/01/2025

Kamuysaurus is now finished! This is another model I'd love to get around to detailing and rigging honestly, I quite love this little thing.

Crazy what a layer of skin does.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 01/01/2025

First up, Happy New Year to all of you! Hopefully it was a good even whether or not you were celebrating recently or a day back. And secondly, here was this eve's project: Kamuysaurus! A good way to start off 2025.

1121

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 25/12/2024

Happy Holidays to all that are celebrating! Didn't end up getting anything done really, but that's fine. I'll be kicking back for the rest of tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping to get some streams in soon too so expect those- gonna try and set 'em up in advance for once.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Did some messing around making a composite Edmontosaurus. It's essentially just an amalgamation of general features from multiple different individuals, who knows, maybe someone'll dig up one that looks just like it eventually. Wouldn't that be funny.

Theri well and truly is such a weird animal, and it's cooler for it in all honesty.

Theri's neat. A weird animal for sure but really interesting because of it.

Sometimes there's those days when you're just exhausted y'know? Probably gonna take a little bit of time to just relax for a while today, got a lot on the mind.

#Hadvent Day 11 Protective Parents Even a giant Deinocheirus should know better than to get on the wrong side of an aggressive mother Saurolophus. #Art #Palaeoart

A sketch of the hadrosaur Saurolophus attacking the giant humped theropod Deinocheirus. The Saurolophus is lunging up at the Deinocheirus, its beak clamping around its opponent's neck. The Deinocheirus' weird, spoonbill-like jaws are crying out to the sky in pain as the force of the attack pushes it sideways. Three baby Saurolophus are dotted around, one stuck on its back to the left of the image with two more darting out of the way at the right. Three small birds fly away from the clashing giants. The piece is a rough digital sketch, with no colour of shading.

It is time. This one'll be for the sake of practice.

080

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 13/12/2024

I've been sitting on the idea for a while, but I'm gonna redo Saurolophus soon. Like today kind of soon. Also have plans to detail it fully too, but that part might take a while.

Gorgo at last! I'm really damn tired though so I'm gonna be calling things here for the night. Internet went out just as I tried to upload this the first time about an hour ago so I'm a tad bit irritated to say the least.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

Time for retopo tomorrow- among other things at least.

0152

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 10/12/2024

Gorgo on the way through! Was messing around with a temp rig before I head to sleep and found a pose I really like. Expect this pose again once I get around to properly rendering this devious critter.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

No headaches so far today- I'm hoping it stays that way... And here's some Magna progress. It's received a few changes, namely getting some meat on its bones, and I'm quite happy so far.

0111

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 09/12/2024

Today has brought me: Killer headaches and drowsiness! Damn that sucked. Hopefully the headache part goes away by tomorrow, but if it doesn't then I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Been sick into this over the past few days so it's certainly been a less than optimal time.

010

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Before I head to sleep, here's a much more clear preview of Magnapaulia! This one's gonna be fun to work on I feel. It'll also be receiving the same treatment I gave Edmontosaurus with making it a bit thicker once I get around to sculpting it.

050

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 05/12/2024

Also as a little [How it started vs. How it's going] here's the most recent Edmontosaurus's first and final appearances. I'm still quite satisfied honestly.

Not gonna lie, I just feel kinda out of it today. Not sure if I'm just tired or what but it's been a meh day overall. Might just sit outside and read tomorrow.

There he goes, off into the sunset.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Bleh, extremely tired today. Hopefully I'll get some good sleep when I head to bed.

010

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Edmontosaurus growth, because the little guy is neat.

1153

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

It's (kind of) done! So have this render plus some extras before I head to sleep. My brain is currently a puddle in my head about now I imagine.

1255

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 28/11/2024

Just something for over here, but here's the WIP for an Edmontosaurus pattern for a little render. Going well so far.

021

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 27/11/2024

Too tired to make another rant, but here's E. annectens all finished up! This has been years in the making, but I'll confirm now that it WILL be modded into a game in the near future. I'm still a one-man-act though so expect some speedbumps until then.

050

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

A much more clear preview of things to come in the near future! My favorite of the Tyrannosaurs and 2 out of 5 for something, that something will have to be revealed at a different point in time however.

0111

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

Sometimes dealing with people is a series of ill-advised events. All because sometimes some people like to press all the worst buttons, and damn does it make it hard to keep composed. I really try and keep myself from getting vocal and arguing but sometimes it's hard man.

020

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Posture concepting for Edmontosaurus before the final sculpt is done, retoped, and ready to be rigged for animation. On the top is the running posture, and the bottom is meant to be an on-alert/combat-ready stance. Hadrosaurs will always hold the top spot in my heart amongst dinosaurs.

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

The moosegoose- now going back to receive some enhancements around the edges.

2131

Edmonto9 @edelemental.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

Some Edmontosaurus stuff, because nothing comes easy when you're inexperienced in a field. I'll have to go back and fix up some things, including the scales unfortunately, but even with a borked texture bake it turned out fairly well.
