This study introduces genome–host association (GHA), leveraging natural epidemics to map the genetic landscape of host adaptation in the pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici. Applied to 832 wheat fungal stra...

Abstract. Polyploidy is widespread within flowering plants, with 35% of extant species being recent polyploids. Whether and how polyploidy modulates the ac

The common perennial weed Achyranthes bidentata (Amaranthaceae) produces many flowers to attract diverse insect pollinators. The authors here found that lycaenid butterflies made long-distance visits...

Abstract. Negative frequency-dependent selection (FDS) can increase both genetic diversity and population-level mean fitness. While the dual consequence of

A plant receptor detects caterpillar attack and triggers emission of chemical cues to attract predatory wasps.

Most predictions of whether populations will adapt to warming range edges ignore species interactions. We experimentally tested whether range-edge populations can adapt to warming within a competitive...

[Important notice] To maintain nomenclature consistent and systematic, we strongly recommend that gene names/symbols should be registered before publications and presentations.

Abstract. Contemporary evolution allows us to investigate how natural selection drives phenotypic and genotypic evolution in nature. Recent advances in mol
