I think the problem a lot of the criticism of Supergirl is that Kara had no male sidekick like Chris Pine in Wonder Woman to project onto. The entire film centers on two women and Lobo wasn’t enough for him to fill that role. Sad thing is most people use action films as self insert power fantasies

Wow Supergirl is a way better film about the horrors of sex trafficking than Black Widow. I love Red Guardian but I hate that the film just brushed off his involvement with the Red Room as if he wasn’t a major instigator of the program that created brainwashed child soldiers.
