my annoying opinion on game genres is that minimalism is good. so yeah, "metroidvania" sucks but "search action" isnt any better. it's an action adventure game. with the "adventure" part meaning "exploration". so are zelda and dark souls. u can add more labels like "2d" and "rpg" if u need to
