Is it an "I" or my cursor?

The capital letter "I" that looks like a cursor can be confusing when reading content, and not knowing where your cursor is on the page.

There's always someone who will see the value of your work, and that's what matters. SpotCheck.tools

A Slack conversation between me and Nancy

Nancy's comment:

That approval process sounds like a mystery to me! Perhaps the reviewer for Mozilla already recognise you so the approval was fast for this round of updates.

I've been trying it out a while ago and it's excellent! Exactly what I need to show people what is acceptable and what is problematic and needs enlarging.

So easy to use and spot check going to really help my tester learn, thank you!! this is going to really help my testers learn, thank you!!

Homer's reply:

That's great! That's exactly what I hope for people to get out of it. Something easy to use and educational. So, thank you!

Whenever I see an accessibility company claim they can keep your business out of court, instant red flag. So I ran SpotCheck against their site to see if they practice what they preach. Contrast statistically, is the worst online. But it is also the easiest to get right. #Accessiblity #A11y

SpotCheck Text Contrast Checker results show 91 tests pass AAA, 23 tests pass AA, and 30 tests fail to meet the minimum contrast ratio.

It's nice to break away from writing code and exercise the creative side of the brain from time to time. I finalized the branding package for SpotCheck today and got it sent off to the Copyright Office because even my side projects get the professional treatment. #LogoDesign #Accessibility

Shout out to Dr. Gary Miller for making Danville, VA more accessible. You can hear the disappointed dad in his "What happened here?" 😆 Great example of leading with empathy and how everyone benefits from accessibility. #Accessibility #ADA #Community

I'm still 10 toes on whoever worked on the high-contrast modes in Windows fumbled the UX bag by not making the preview images the actual way to select a theme. Instead, we have to use the dropdown and hit apply. Why? The opportunity is right there. #UI #UX
