Coolest couple in the neighborhood. Photo from my collection, 1937.

Black and white photo of a young light skinned black woman in a dark beret and turtleneck sweater, sitting outside of the brick steps of a wooden house porch. Next to her is a shorthaired white cat looking very curiously into the distance, but the cat is restrained by the woman’s hand and also a harness if it should decide to run off and investigate.

i took some time to make a couple of new pieces of decor out of my collection of foraged finds ✨ (+ audio book progress because why not & cat tax because duhhh)

a hand holding up a wall hanging made out of foraged materials, including an acorn cap, bone, a hagstone, a chestnut, sticks, a devil pod, and a pinecone

small paper mystery bags with a linocut eye stamp on the front, being displayed in a shallow box made of foraged materials, including sticks, moss, pinecones & mushrooms

a screenshot of the lord of the rings: the two towers audio book, showing 17 hours, 38 minutes & 6 seconds into the book while on chapter 6: the forbidden pool

a tortoiseshell call laying on a rug on pair of black slides & a gudetama sock in the corner

sooo I actually got a few of these done today lol new illustration, customized a frame for it, finished a faerie banner, returned to the most gorgeous cemetery I’ve ever stepped foot in, took product photos, & I’m about to get cozy with Skyrim<3 zines, print making & finishing Two Towers tomorrow~

a product photo of the following items; a small handmade banner hanging from a low tree branch with a woodcut mushroom design in the center, an illustration of a cat-sìth (faerie cat) sitting next to a turnip jack-o-lantern in a frame customized with a bunch of twigs, and a small coffin-shaped box tied with twine in the forefront

rolling hills of a woodsy garden cemetery with a blossoming pink tree and a winding road cutting through the landscape

a closeup of dead leaves, young wild flowers, and an acorn on the forest floor

a gravestone engraved with “all be as before, love, -only sleep!

a small brick cemetery shed covered in bare vines with the year 1890 etched into the doorway

a small Victorian era gravestone marked only with the name Gracie and a small stone sheep perched on top

a close up of the top of an old gravestone; a cherub design at the top of the stone with “in memory of” etched beneath it

a pile of dead leaves with a few feathers, wing bones, and ribs of a seagull poking through

whew, okay!! after hours & hours of collaging & formatting & screaming into a pillow, here’s a few pages from my new ziiine ✨

a black and white photo collage of various vintage clippings of the following: the text “how to survive the fall of an empire - 15 easy tips!” borders the left side of the image while a woman with a skeletal face who is knitting sits on the right side

a black and white photo collage of various vintage clippings of the following: a stack of five books with “visit your local library & get yourself a library card” written on the bindings, surrounded by a simple botanical design

a black and white photo collage of various vintage clippings of the following: a vintage television with the text “cancel unnecessary subscriptions” written across its cracked screen, with a mirrored image of a hand pointing a toy ray gun at a hypnotic spiral above and below the television

a black and white photo collage of various vintage clippings of the following: three slanted arrows pointing to the text “make some noise!” above an image of a feminine hand dialing a rotary phone and beside an image of a protester holding a sign that reads “no mercy for fascism”

Imagine bleeding out here

A gloomy photo taken from a low angle of a ruined castle tower with the sun peeking through a tree behind the structure

A gloomy photo taken from a partially obscured position around the side of a stone wall of a ruined castle. A cloaked figure with pointed ears rests beneath a tree growing within the ruins, their face gently lit by a soft light.

A gloomy photo taken from a low angle of a shadowy ruined stone castle, likely the basement area, gently lit by diffused light of the sun behind a grey sky, with the sun at the viewers back.

A gloomy photo taken from a low angle with some out of focus brush in the foreground, and a ruined castle tower standing beneath a tall tree in focus in the middle of the scene, with a dimly lit grey sky.

i randomly reread junji ito’s yon & mu the other night for the first time in a few years. it reminded me so much of my own babies & was coincidentally right between their gotcha days 🖤

junji ito’s ‘yon & mu’ with a tortoiseshell cat asleep in a ball behind it

a page from junji ito’s ‘yon & mu’ manga where j is bribing his two cats with a pile of treats to snuggle on his bed with him, but disappointment ensues as the cats leave in typical cat fashion after finishing said pile of treats

a grey siamese cat with his eyes closed while receiving forehead strokes

a tortoiseshell kitten laying on a lap & looking at the camera

Keith Haring died of AIDS aged 31 on 16 Feb 1990. One of his last works, Unfinished Painting, was deliberately incomplete, reflecting the devastating, unquantifiable loss to the arts due to AIDS. #LGBTplusHistoryMonth

A square canvas. Only the top corner is filled with Harings distinctive figures, rendered in Lavender, the rest is blank.
