The irony in a chat platform where they falsely ban people based on false or malicious reports, encouraging people to add randoms to your friends' list, without knowing if they are malicious or not will never not be really creepy to me. What the fuck, Discord? Is there a way to turn this shit off???

玄 (Kuro) / Xar @xarizzar.bsky.social · 6h

Someone on Discord sent me a friend request, saying Discord recommended me to them. I reluctantly accepted and asked what that was all about. They showed me this image where in the friends' list there was a suggestions tab with a bunch of users, which I have removed from the image. What the fuck????

Phoenix visits Kristoph in his swanky cell to get some answers, but Kristoph isn't complying. Surprisingly, he seems to have some secrets locked deep and dark. While Gavin is away, though, Phoenix manages a look at decisive evidence.

I love Apollo Justice (the game). I like Apollo as a character, too, but I just love how sly and cunning the main villain in that game is.

Inktober #8 - Chibi I'm throwing the original prompt out the window again Wanted to draw bunny Cafe today actually, but was not coming out nicely. So pivoted to chibi Mochizuki, loosely going for awofujiiro's chibi style

To clarify "ossan" in Japanese means "uncle" but it can be used for older (but not too old) people.

玄 (Kuro) / Xar @xarizzar.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Sylvando from DQ11 calls themselves Sylvia in Japanese, talks like a woman, yet Erik still calls them "uncle". Maybe they are a transwoman, but I'm confused about what pronouns I should be using for them. lol

been doing a lot of thinking about life lately. I think longterm I need to get the heck out of tech and especially programming. I wasn't having a great time in recent years to begin with but I feel like we've moved into the path of extra-cursed with genAI.

"But the handicapped need cars!" No, what they need are options in mobility. The tech exists to enable their freedom of independent mobility, but almost always what is lacking is the enabling infrastructure. Bike lanes and quality sidewalks serve everyone.

If you have a problem with a series (and you probably should, especially if it's attacking you for existing), please stop giving attention to said series. There's so much other stuff that you can support.

玄 (Kuro) / Xar @xarizzar.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

People making genderbent art of a character from a series that funds transphobia is weird to me. Why are people still giving attention to that series? To clarify, I don't mind people making genderbent art of any character. But that last part is making it weird to me.

FA being told by advertisers that the most mundane of art is just too risqué to work with should be a good indicator why trying making your fandom squeaky clean to appease people, who will never be happy, is a shitty idea

I envy the strong for being able to take and potentially get away with risks. I envy the smart for knowing what risks to take. I envy people who can afford spending time doing new things and people who aren't distraught after failing something. I wish I could be like that, too.
