After sleeping on it, I still am not a fan of Super Slam. If it's good mechanically, it will make up for it but I am concerned that FaB is heading in a direction I don't enjoy. I really don't want this game to turn into an aesthetic clone of Hearthstone.

#fabtcg Super Slam is the first time I've had an outright negative reaction to the art style and flavor in a FaB set. Really hope they don't continue to lean into the "goofy" art direction we've seen lately.

Hot take: Nuu was never a problem. FaB players just don't like to feel dumb and making the wrong choices into her fed into that. Nuu's power level was never an issue.

Delayed PQ match reports! I was on midrange Florian, along with 2 other teammates. I drove 2 hours to a 27 person PQ at Pull and Play in Sacramento. I knew going into this that I was not going to be able to go to Singapore, but these are always great practice and a great time!

#fabtcg #armoryrecap On a new version of Florian, I finally switched over to Channel Millennium Tree. R1 vs Verdance 🌹 ✅. Had some nice tempo plays, and was able to prevent the worst of their explosive turns. I need more practice in this matchup for sure though.

World Tour Memphis was a blast. Had some fantastic games, every opponent I played was great, and I can't wait to do it all again in Vegas in a few months. If anyone out there is on the fence about attending a FABTCG event, it is absolutely worth it!

#fabtcg #callingmemphis BH Match report! R1 vs Kano ✅. Won the die roll, drew my 1 of seeds of tomorrow on my opener, sat on it for 4 turns until he popped striders, then negated his Wildfire. A few turns later was able to pop Plume of Evergrowth and recur it to stop his second combo. Whew.
