Got my first tattoo today. My brother’s nickname. Heard a few times how it was a nice tribute. It isn’t. It’s like the other permanent marks on my body - scars to remind me of my mistakes.

Most of the marriage advice I received was from bitter old men whose public persona were as terrible, inconsiderate husbands. I learned a lot of what not to be from them, and ignored their advice.

While it was frustrating waiting for an invite, that’s a really good point in favor of keeping the current process. But I’m also frustrated that I have to keep going back to Twitter for my news / sports / industry feeds. Don’t know how much it impacts that vs. number of users.
