When I was growing up, school lunch was the only hot meal I had guaranteed. Never had breakfast and, depending on the day, wouldn’t eat dinner until 8-9pm. If you are against feeding kids lunch then you’re truly a terrible person. Just a gross human being.

IMO yesterday was supposed to be Schmitt’s big springboard onto the national stage. That’s why we started to hear about him as a running mate and all the national interviews lined up for after the hearing. Same playbook they tried with Byron until AOC showed him to be a liar. This rerun sucks

Lanterns is just so freaking good. Each episode and as a whole thus far Adding GL comics to my next read pile. I read mostly Marvel comics growing up and my GL knowledge is limited to Timm’s Justice League series and DCAU. Just like when I was a kid, comics are the great escape from reality

Just got home from beautiful Kentucky. Hadn’t been to my mom’s hometown since 1995. She passed at the beginning of June so bringing her home this last time was the hardest things I’ve done. As the saying goes it’s all over but the crying. Maybe, now, I can allow myself a chance to do that.
