I think credit cards are evil and I do not want to own one. I’ve managed my whole adult life just fine in Australia with debit cards only. But now Steam requires one to prove my age and there’s literally no other proof it will accept? My Steam account itself is 18 years old. This is absurd.

In my entire 11 months here in Tokyo I don’t remember a single time I sat down next to someone on the subway and they moved to another seat; this week it’s happened 3 times. Doesn’t feel great and I can’t figure out why this is happening now all of a sudden.

Art tip: don't share everything you draw. Draw things you never intend to show anyone. Your brain needs time to just exist in a state that's not about performing for strangers. This used to be the normal way to exist before social media poisoned us.

This is really good advice. One thing I’d add: if you’re an indie dev with a publisher, PLEASE double check if they’re submitting your game. I’ve seen publishers submit games, often demos, from devs who didn’t know their publisher was doing this & would have rather waited or had more control

“The effect of ChatGPT on educators’ lives is catastrophic. Whether you intended to do it or not, you’ve made every teacher’s life infinitely more difficult than it was two years ago. So, just let that settle in… If students are using it to compose, which is the biggest tragedy of all, they’ll never learn to write. And their voice is stolen from them. They’ll never have the ability to say their truth and tell their own story. And that’s silencing an entire generation or two.”

Unpacking 📦 @unpackinggame.com · 24/06/2026
Unpacking was included in the "Design & Disability" exhibit at the V&A South Kensington, and they've now opened that exhibition at @VADundee. It'll be on view through October, and well worth a visit. Details here: www.vam.ac.uk/dundee/whats...
A picture of a computer playing Unpacking in a museum exhibit. The caption reads "Unpacking is a puzzle game where the player arranges the belongings of an unseen protagonist, slowly disclosing their story through intimate details. Objects like medication, hot water bottles and a cane reveal a subtle disability narrative. The game is an example of crip time in creative practice, encouraging slower, reflective play. It offers a unique approach to storytelling in videogames. Have a go at playing!"
