When we passed the Minimum Pay Rate law in 2021, inspired by the organizing of @workersjusticep.bsky.social, we knew it would take diligent, creative, aggressive enforcement. The Mamdani Administration is showing powerfully what it looks like to govern on behalf of workers.

In 2021, NYC passed a set of laws improving the rights of food-delivery workers—including the right to use the bathroom of businesses when picking up an order from them. Central to these legislative victories was the organizing by @workersjusticep.bsky.social's Los Deliveristas Unidos.
