I feel like this is the eternal paradox of Classic WoW. I often see discussions on how MMOs have lost their position as "third spaces" away from the home and work, but it's hard to want to participate in a third space that is experiencing an active, coordinated attempt to turn it into a nazi bar.

Boyf and I have been discussing why a lot of shonen feels almost identical and this really adds the insight we were missing. It's not that the series are bad, they just tend to become extremely fight brained until it's no character, just feats, powerscaling, hype and aura moments
