Personally, I think if they do adjust the 5th floor boss in Limbus they don't touch it too significantly. That's the first time in a while I've had Library levels of brain activity, and I'd hate to lose that again.

Absolutely, the questing is completely bone dry in Classic. There's occasional bursts of cool stuff but WOW is it hard to find beneath the fiftieth "go fight reskinned enemies for random drop" quest 💀💀

But all of it is the people making the game fun rather than the game being fun off rip. Maybe some of the new areas are more interesting? I need to try out Skyborne areas and deliberately hunt down new quests. Might be a bad sign when I can't tell new and old quests apart lol.

There's definitely some things classic is doing better. I like the social vibes from my guild and the people running around helping each other in the world. I also like the adventure vibe with the camping.

Different strokes at the end of the day, but I find Retail tends to catch an infinite amount of critique while Forever is thriving in the honeymoon phase. Maybe I need to be playing with people more in Forever? I'm gonna try a class that's not Warrior and see how it hits.

Forever DOES have good stuff, the things that are specific to classes are really cool. Needing to hike to the top of a huge mountain to find an old orc smith to make me a cool new warrior weapon? Excellent. Needing to hunt another 50 mobs hoping they drop an ass for the prove yourself quest? Eugh.

It's so odd going from WoW Forever to Retail during the reset because the questing is such a different vibe. Forever feels like going to hunt 20 bear asses in a slightly different brown shaded planesland. Retail had me chucking materials at an overworked tailor to make stuff for tourist paladins.
